Fukagawa

Fukagawa is a district located in the east of Tokyo. There are very attractive spots not known among tourists.

One is the Kiyosumi Garden. It is a Japanese style garden with a central pond and strolling path. You will find calm and peaceful Japanese beauty there. You will also find turtles, carps, and Gray Herons.

Next spot is the Fukagawa Edo Museum. Old Tokyo town (called as Edo city) is rebuilt in the museum. You can time-trip to the early 19th century.  You can explore the town and the old local residence.

The third spot I recommend is the Fukagawa Fudodo temple. The temple is very popular among local people. The religious ritual is very mysterious and interesting.
