Kappabashi Kitchen Town

Do you know that Japan produces good kitchen tools and tablewares such as kitchen knives and craft works of ceramics?

I explored Ueno, Tokyo, and Asakusa together with a nice Aussie couple.

First, we visited the Old Downtown Museum (Shitamachi Museum) in Ueno. There are old models of shops and residences of the 20th century in the real size. You can understand the old life of Tokyo people.

Next, we enjoyed vegan ramen lunch at the Tokyo station, because those Aussies are vegetarians. The ramen was very good!

Then we moved to Asakusa. After we visited the Sensoji temple, we went to the Kappabashi street which is the largest shopping street for tablewares and kitchen tools. We were so happy because they had a sales promotion event on the weekend.
