Imperial Palace, Asakusa, and Ueno Sakura

I explored Tokyo with a nice guy came from Australia. It was a fine day.

First, we met in the hotel lobby where the guest was staying. Then we moved to the imperial palace by the Tokyo Metro line G and line C.

The Imperial Palace

The Imperial Palace is the former Edo Castle.

We went to some of the castle towers and Ninomaru Japanese style garden.

Asakusa --- Senso-ji Temple and Dempo-In Garden

Then, we moved to Asakusa by the Metro line T and G.

After we had lunch in a local restaurant, we visited Senso-Ji temple and Asakusa Jinja shrine. Those are traditional religion sites. The Dempo-In garden in the Senso-Ji temple was open for public. It was very beautiful and peaceful. We had relaxed time there.

Ueno

Next, we moved to Ueno by the Metro line G, again. Ueno park is famous for its sakura, cherry blossoms.  The blossoms were starting and some of the trees are almost full bloom. It's so beautiful.

After that, we moved by the Metro line G. We strolled in Akihabara. Finally, we moved to Ginza by the Metro line H.

Today, we moved by Tokyo Metro lines. The metro system in Tokyo is well developed. There are many Metro lines and a little bit confusing. Don't worry, I will tell you the easy way. The 24 hours ticket is 600 yen. It's reasonable.
