Asakusa and Harajuku with a family from Singapore

I have explored Tokyo with a nice family from Singapore.

They are the dad, mum, and two daughters. We met at a hotel in Roppongi.

In Tokyo, the rainy season has been ended. It was a nice sunny day.

First, we visited Asakusa. Asakusa is a traditional town in Tokyo.

There is a gate with a big red lantern. The name of the gate is Kaminari-mon, the Thunder Gate.

We walked through the gate and Nakamise shopping street. There are many small stores they offer traditional crafts and so on.

Then, we visited the Senso-Ji Buddhist temple, My guests prayed their wish with many local people to the goddess of mercy.

After visiting the Senso-Ji, we had a very good Tempura lunch. Tempura is deep-fried seafood and vegetables. We ate nice Ten-don, a rice bowl topped with Tempura.

Then we moved to Harajuku by Tokyo Metro. Mum and daughters enjoyed shopping in Harajuku very much. Harajuku is popular among fashionable teenage girls. And, there are many worldwide famous brand shops. Harajuku is the best town for who fashionable men and women.

Finally, we went to the  6th-floor terrace of the Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku. Dad enjoyed Japanese India pale ale beer. We saw Fuji mountain. We are very lucky because it is not easy to see the Fuji from Tokyo in the summer evening. It was very beautiful.
